Ms. Laurie Frazier has been an English teacher in Aiken County Schools for 30 years. She taught at North Augusta Middle School for 22 years, and then she moved to Columbia and taught in West Columbia for one year. Ms. Frazier is back in Aiken County and is currently starting her 30th year in education, but this time, she is teaching English I at Aiken High School.  She has a Bachelor's in English with a minor in Education as well as a Master's degree in Secondary English Education. Ms. Frazier was also selected as Teacher of the Year for North Augusta Middle School in 2007 and ultimately was chosen as a member of the prestigious Honor Court during that same year. In addition, she was awarded the Golden Apple Award by WJBF TV when she was nominated by a former student from NAMS.  This award was presented to her in a school-wide assembly during the 2019-2020 school year.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren (Frazier, Lander, Emmalyn, and Lennon), working out, reading, watching documentaries, crocheting, photography, and traveling (preferably the beach)!
