Sandy Polk began her teaching career in 1985 as a third grade teacher at Byrd Elementary. Fifteen years later she started out in the ESOL program as a teacher at Millbrook, Chukker Creek and Greendale Elementary Schools. For the past eight years she has been providing professional development to ESOL and content teachers as the Title III Partner Teacher for Aiken County Public Schools.
