Melissa Blizzard is the director of bands at Kennedy Middle school. She has taught middle and high school band, as well as college level instrumental pedagogy, music theory, and private flute at all levels. She is a contributing author to "Teaching Music: A K-12 Experience." Mrs. Blizzard holds a Bachelor of Music from James Madison University, a Master of Music from Western Michigan University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia Regents University. Mrs. Blizzard is a veteran of the United States Air Force Bands Program.
