Teachers and administrators will look at the definition of accommodations and what accommodations support literacy instruction, as related to specific disabilities. At the end of the session, participants will have knowledge of the legalities of Section 504 accommodations, why these accommodations support good instruction, and how to execute the accommodations in their class.

Amy Margaret MacDougall started teaching special education in alternative settings, elementary special education, and general education in middle grades.  In administration she has served as an assistant principal in elementary and middle school settings.  At the district level, Amy Margaret has supported schools and students  as Alternative Learning Coordinator, and Program Specialist for Section 504 and Tribunal.
