Limited Capacity seats available

This discussion will explore the Western canon and classical literature, potential problems with the canon, as well as notions of universality in literature.  One of the issues that secondary English teachers should think about are issues of representation within the traditional canon and how important text selection is within a class.  Crudely, and on a sort of macro level, this panel will focus on what English teachers should try to get their students to read.
