Participants will examine best instructional practices for mainstream teachers with high school/middle school ESOL students. Topics to be addressed include differentiation, scaffolding, and the effective implementation of student accommodation plans. At the end of the session, participants will be able to employ new research-based strategies to meet the literacy needs of their ESOL students.
