Limited Capacity full

Participants will gather an understanding of how literature can be used to springboard an Interactive Writing lesson. The benefits to be gained from this session will be learning how to encourage active participation by students in writing lessons and the observation of how to incorporate a "practice page" to facilitate independence when writing by their students. Participants will take away the knowledge of an interactive method to teach writing in their classrooms that they can utilize immediately. At the end of this session participants will be able to return to their classrooms and use interactive writing to reinforce writing in their classrooms and allow children to be actively engaged during the writing lesson.
