Understanding the data is how we help students grow to college and career readiness. In this session participants will learn how to access SRI College and Career Reports in SAM, interpret the results and use the results to plan instruction using strategies to help all students read and interact with high quality, complex texts. At the end of this session participants will be able to access report data to plan instruction using strategies for interacting with complex texts.

Tia has spent her career working in literacy with a focus on early literacy.  She taught in Savannah-Chatham for 18 years at the elementary level and also worked as a District Literacy Specialist for 2 years. Tia left the classroom to work for the Gov. of Georgia on a special literacy project funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation and also revised all the Georgia Unit Frameworks.
