Helping students read, comprehend, and engage with high-quality, complex texts are essential for college and career success. In this session participants will learn about the metacognitive processes students need to comprehend complex text and provide support for all students with text-based tasks. At the end of the session, participants will be able to plan effective lessons using complex texts, text-dependent questions, and performance tasks.
