Limited Capacity filling up

Class management within literacy environments session will focus on specific methods that are applicable to every classroom to motivate students to work toward improving literacy skills and content area knowledge. First, the session will introduce problems within a literacy classroom that distract student's learning. Next this session will demonstrate, discuss, and share strategies with activities which will increase students' time on task and provide opportunities for learning. At the end of this session, participants will be able to model a bell to bell lesson cycle, know a variety of rewards and incentives for students' success in the classroom, and minimize undesirable behaviors.
