Celebrate reading through the arts! See how to take a school-wide reading theme and tie it in with academic excellence through the arts. Our monthly reading celebrations are arts integrated explorations of different places around the world. Students celebrate meeting their reading goals while learning about a new place through dance, music, and visual arts. At the end of this session, participants will see how we have expanded student rewards from a simply fun time out of class to an arts integrated, fun-filled learning experience. Participants will be able to use these ideas to celebrate reading at their schools.
