In this session, the participants will learn about comprehension strategies to help students read literary and informational texts. Teachers and administrators will learn more about the impact of specific strategies and how they can be employed in high school classrooms.

Ms. Kayce Cook is an English-Language Arts Specialist for secondary education. She has taught secondary students for many years prior to this position. As a specialist, Ms. Cook works with teachers to employ research-based strategies in their classrooms. Ms. Cook has a range of experiences with teachers and students.
