This session will answer the question, "How do I teach my students to collaborate effectively?" With the increased demand for collaborative classroom activities, especially in the area of literacy, it is just as important to teach students HOW to collaborate as it is to give them opportunities to collaborate. This session will provide the research behind collaborative learning as well as lessons and strategies to teach students how to collaborate effectively.
